Chubara Indian Restaurant

The Chubara Indian Restaurant is located on the second floor and has stunning views over the firth of forth,at the quayside in Musselburgh. The opening times for the Chubara are from 5.30pm and last orders are at 10pm.

When Charan sold his Harlequin chain of restaurants, the largest in the UK after 25 years of solid growth, he thought he would never go back to opening another restaurant. “I didn’t know at the time that I would come to the Quay and be presented with a building with such stunning views, and the opportunity to create a new concept was too hard to pass”.  Charan confessed.

“The CHUBARA (which translates as the highest room in the house) is an Indian restaurant where quality is the focus. The menu will change regularly and a few new dishes will be introduced. Our two Executive chefs, Chef Manoj and Chef Ajay were hired personally by me from India and they have been working with me at Harlequin for a number of years. I have asked them to serve the dishes that were popular in India as well as some of the classics served in Harlequin restaurants.
